On Friday, June 7, 2019, LEUR held the opening reception for Southern Queer Magic, an eclectic collection of local queer forces and the power they possess — spotlighting local LGBTQIA+ artists, makers, and creators — held at the Firehouse Gallery in partnership with The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge.
