Our Free & Inclusive Clothing Cafe

On Sunday, November 23, 2025, our volunteer network hosted it’s first Free & Inclusive Clothing Cafe at the East Baton Rouge Main Library at Goodwood. During those seven hours, we managed to connect over 250 individuals & families to free clothing items, including shoes & accessories.

With the support of public clothing donations, we were able to collect just over 200 bags of gently to moderately used clothing from members in our local community. At the end of our event we were left with only 22 bags, which were then distributed to both Saint Vincent de Paul Thrift Store here in Baton Rouge, as well as the Fred Hampton Free Store, managed by the Greater New Orleans Caring Collective.
